Has anyone been able to find a direct replacement for the station wagon fuel tank? I took my old tank to one of those "renu" your tank places and they want to charge me 300+ bucks! I put them on hold hoping I could find a new replacement, but have been unlucky so far. The only new station wagon tanks I could find for that year was for the Pontiac Catalina. Does anyone know if GM used the same tank for the Catalina as they did the Sportwagon for 68? Thanks, Vic
Hi, You are going to need a fuel tank for a '68-72 A-body wagon. These include Special Deluxe, Sportwagon, Chevelle, LeMans (?), F85. I believe that an Olds Vista Cruiser would be a direct bolt in. I don't believe you will have much luck funding a new one unfortunately. Wayne
