I am going to order a set of white reproduction bucket seat backs and bottoms. My 68 GS350 backs and bottoms are in bad shape. Hoping someone else has purchased a set and can tell me how they fit. Sometime ago I looked at a pair from Thepartsplace and did not like how the clips were attached ant he top, not molded, looked like they were put on after the molding. Had a friend use some Ames on his 72 GTO and the backs fit well but had to do some work to get the bottoms on. Looked at OPG and the reviews are all over the place. Some say fit nice, maybe on Chevy, one person received two sets with the tabs broken, and ordered a set from Ames and they fit nice but the side latch holes were in the wrong place. Most reproduction parts are like speed parts, you have to make them fit. Thanks in advance. Bill Sangster.

George, thanks for the reply, all is well here, but it seams to take longer to get less done, must be my age. So you bought a set for a 68. Who did you purchase them from?

It was for a 69 with pearl interior... I can't remember WHO I bought them from. I think they all come from 1 source. The Parts Place, maybe???

Follow up on seat backs and aprons. Purchased from Thepartsplace, through Ebay, $179.00 in white, shipped. Packed well and looked very nice. Fit was good, my seats are old and have had work done on them, with used original material. I am pleased with the fit and quality. DSC04027.JPG DSC04028.JPG DSC04029.JPG DSC04030.JPG
