68 Skylark door on a 69?

I have a 69 2 door coupe, and the only real body issue to note is a randomly rusty driver side door. I found a 68 door local, but the 68 has the wing window, my 69 does not. Will my window and guts swap into the 68 door frame?

Why don't you try to get patch repair metal sheet or have it fabricated ?

 

I'm an aviation sheet metal tech by trade...this door is gone, parts of the frame are literally just gone. It must have come from another car, because this car is a so-cal bought and owned for 48 years, no rust at all elsewhere.
