    Hey Guys,

Looking to replace the front and rear coil springs on my 68 GS convertible.
I cannot seem to locate anyone who has them. Speedway motors has some A Body big block springs but I am not sure those are correct. Looking to stay stock ride height and don't want to go lower. OPGI has springs but exclude GS models.

    Any Ideas??

Last question, the inner fender well has battery damage, I can find new ones or repair panels for a 70-72, nothing for a 68. What are my chances of those fitting or are they totally different?

    Thanks

The inner fender patch can be grafted on to a ‘68 and ‘69. It doesn’t match perfectly but works well.
For springs you’ll need to know with or without A/C and standard, heavy duty or trailer tow. The oe numbers are in the Master Parts book Group 7, you can get them and try to cross reference them or use the questions above to order from someone like Eaton.

Frank, I just rebuilt the front control arm bushings. I didn't replace the existing #5380's that were there. 24 1/2" to the fender trim (from the ground over the wheel). 1969 GS with a 455 no AC. They were an easy install, which should be a consideration if your doing it yourself. :)

    For reference,
    Mike

In regards to the inner fender damage, You might check with Fastest430 here on the board. He may have something to help you.
