Anyone know where I can get a round terminal connector for the hot wire going to the cigarette lighter? Thanks!
Thank you Briz, I may do that. I have one wiring hack after the other to fix with my car. Previous owner had zero electrical ability and lots of ambition.....
On the Riv I went through and changed all of the 4 lighters to power points with a 20A fuse at each one.
What do you mean by that? What’s a power point? I’m a bit confused. Also, will a phone charger work with the old cigarette lighters?
Ok, i did a little online reading. my understanding is that an original cigarette lighter port can charge phones but a power point or accessory port can’t operate the cigarette lighter?
I would assume that would be correct but I've never tried tto plug a lighter into the power port. I dont smoke and neither will anyone else in my car. The power point fixtures has a nice rubber attached cap to close them off when not in use
