You could get it earlier in the model year as well if you special ordered it.

New wheels and tires. Made quite a difference in it's demeanor, IMHO

14x6 later year Regal rims with G70-14 Firestone Wide Ovals. I finished the wheels to my preference, I painted between the spokes pewter like Buick did(and should have kept doing)64-66, and I used the 71-newer silver background centers, so while not 100% correct, I combined colors and pieces for what I consider the cleanest look.:Do No:

My 1968 Skylark custom "Abby" 64,000 original miles. 350 car was a 2bbl but now is a mildly modified 4bbl. I still have all of the original parts I have removed. Since the fall of 2014 she has become a weekend warrior at the local 1/4 mile track. The cars original owner lived in the SantaFe, NM area. That is where most of the cars life has been spent. In 2008 the second owner got the car and had it for a year. I purchased the car in May of 2009 for $3,200 cash while on leave from one of my tours in Iraq while I was in the Army. The goal is to have a fun little sleeper in the 13s on a budget. I will be keeping her all buick and am sticking with the stock longblock. I love that she's a stepchild year and a smallblock. IMG_20150802_30883.jpg IMG_20150802_5071.jpg IMG_20150802_14759.jpg IMG_20150802_37784.jpg IMG_20150802_56381.jpg

All right, I have a good start on one of three 1969 cars.

In the stable is a genuine GS 350, along with a convertible, and this coupe from northern California that I worked on between last March and July in order to get it over to the Car Craft Magazine SUMMER NATIONALS held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. We also made it to the Downtown West Allis Classic Car Show in October.

Here are the pics from the very beginning. From where she lay asleep in the trees, to the roll back, and finally at rest INSIDE a garage in Cincinnati for good. There will be no selling this one.... IMAG0113.jpg IMG_20150801_172103419.jpg day1.jpg day2.jpg

Was your car originally Fireglow? We need a cowl tag photo...Q paint code perhaps?

Still have that quarter panel if your interested. It would be the perfect ticket from the pictures you've posted.

To the other folks that have put pictures on this thread's page, thanks for sharing, I enjoyed them all!
