'68 350 2-Barrel Carburetor

    Looking for another 2-barrel carburetor for a '68 350 engine.I will be rebuilding the carb.My present one has the number 7028140 on a black tag.Any help in locating one will be appreciated. ....John

    John - I dont know If you've considered this, but.....If you can stay out of a 4-barrel's secondaries, you may get better gas mileage from switching to a 4-barrel as the primaries are much smaller than a 2-barrels


    ....just something to consider.

    Alan, Thanks for the info.In the future for my '68,I'd like to go with a four-barrel. Right now,with only 38,322 miles on the engine...and current gas prices..I'm going to keep the 2-barrel.Good idea though, but I "do" remember "not" being able to keep off the secondaries with my Dad's 1967 Sportwagon when I was eighteen. ...John
