Still sounding like angles to me...

The shudder is a function of angle and load. So, for example, when you add weight in the trunk you are changing the angle (favorably) and the load (unfavorably, since added load would make it worse). In other words, if you could hook a heavy trailer to it and not make the rear end go down you would expect it to be REALLY bad.

Since it got better that would imply the angles are the biggest factor and are overcoming the load aspect.:Smarty:

I think you are closing in on it :TU:

    By the way, that's a heck of a driveshaft!!

Vito, TA's "shorty" headers might work. I had a shop in Michigan custom make a full length set for me since there are none off the shelf.

Well Group Im Back....would Like To Thank Every One Who Helped Me With My Vibration/shudder. It Is Finally Done.

Yes It Was Pinon Angle. I Had To Purchase The Chassis Manual For A Mechanic To Assist Him In The Adjustment.

For The Record...the Original Idiot That Replaced The Carrier Bearing...etc.....determined That He Would Have To Do Process Of Elimination Again In Order To Get It Right. All New Rear Control Arm Bushings/adjustment...$875.00.

If That Did Not Work. Then All New Front End Bushings And Front Coil Springs....$1200.00

After I Asked Him If He Had Brain Damage. I Said, Do You Think You May Want To Take A Simpler Rout And Try Shimming, Ciol Spring Lifters, Or Whatever Before You Just Start Replacing Parts?

His Response Was That Would Just Be A Quick Fix.

    I Walked Out.

Found An Older Gentlemen At A Car Show Who Told Me To Bring It To His Shop [after I Gave Him The Whole Story]

$150.00 Later The Vibration Was Gone. Shims And Washers!
He Thought To Replace The Bushings On This Car Would Be Criminal, They Are A Bit Worn But Not Dry Rotted. If You Ever Do A Frame Off Then Call Him.

This Man Will Repair Every Car I Own Till I Die And Every Person I Know Will Know Of Him.

Soooooo Can Any Mechanics Out There That Own There Own Shop Tell Me What Is Up With That! I Thought The Way To Earn A Living Is Repeat Business.

    Thx Again All Vito

Still Looking For 66 Electra Rear Bumper And 430 Kick Down Switch
