1967 Buick Skylark on Ebay. It has the project engine from Hot Rod Magazine that made 390 HP and 423 TQ from a 300 block.

I understand completely. if we all liked the same thing then all cars would look identical. I just noticed the door handles. it's odd I didnt notice that before.. the car is just so clean and flows well
Thanks, that is what I was looking for. I agree that cars should be about what the builder likes. I felt very lucky to have the chance to build a car like the ones I always wanted as a kid.
I like it just the way it is. As a matter of fact I've been wanting to change the look of my `65 and ordered a set of custom backspace Wheel Vintiques Series 64 wheels for it just like the ones on the `67. I ordered them on January 25th of this year, waited 12 weeks for them only to find that UPS had dropped one and bent the rim on the front side of one of the rears wheel, so I ordered a replacement and it just arrived yesterday. Yeah, July 3rd. I can't wait to get them on the car. Not that it'll matter much right now, the engine is out of the car at the moment
it's a beautiful car and well put together but I need and want door handles. I was seriously looking at making a bid then realized they were missing.
Shaved door handles are cool depending on your tastes. I shaved the door handles on my 1991 Chevy C1500 25+ years ago. I still think it looks cool but when you need to get in and have your hands full it is inconvenient. If I could go back in time I might not have done it.
it's a beautiful car but unfortunately there's a lot more to it than just drilling two holes to put door handles and locks back on. luckily you're in SoCal and there are probably quite a few people down there who don't mind the modification. I'm sure you'll sell the car without too much effort.
