Hey guys! Still looking to get my first Buick. I have a line on a '67 Skylark that looks pretty clean (going to check it out in person tomorrow), but it needs to be put back together.

Front clip is off and he has a 430 out of a Wildcat to put in it. Engine needs a complete rebuild and is missing a crank. Does have an Edelbrock AL intake, 650 and some long tube headers (will those even fit?). The seats are out of a '96 Riveria (yuk), aftermarket floor shifter and a wood grain steering wheel. Basically a hodge-podge inside.

So while it looks nice on the exterior, there's a fair amount of work to do to make it road worthy or beyond. It's a 3407, so it could go either way as a custom build or quasi-original. IMO, it's not worth a OEM restoration.

He's asking $8500, but I only see $3-4K in it. Any advice?

Hi, it might help to say if I could see pics, but as it stands I wouldn't pay more than 3K for it.

Looks clean enough---just depends what you want to do with it ultimately. How much will you need to spend in parts? Can you do most of the work required yourself?
