First my grill was painted completly silver by the PO.. I would like to paint black back,,, back in to it . From what I understand painting plastic with the wrong type of paint could be a bad thing. True or false.. what is the recommended paint for the grill.. Tail light lens the SS strip fell off. Because of of what I understand about paint. Is there a glue of choice for this? seams like there are a billion answers on goggle & they not all the same.. pic of a lens plucked from ebay.
i would think any glue that wont melt the plastic would work. a 67 gs grill should be silver if im not mistaken. as long as its prepped right plastic should hold up with paint. good scuff and adhesion promoter prime and paint.
