Does anyone have a photo of what the jack/spare setup is supposed to look like in the 67 Electra convertible? Everything was just laying in the trunk when I got the car last year. Thanks!

If it’s like the wildcats, isn’t there a welded anchor on the passenger side of the trunk floor? My car has that with the loop bolt that goes thru it, then the jack base and a big wing nut. The jack itself is anchored along the outboard side of the trunk. I wouldn’t think Electra’s were much different, but I’ve been wrong once - once - before...

That is correct but I need to see how the jack is oriented as well as all the other bits. There is a spring retainer and a small bracket in this pile too.

    From the '67 owner's manual:

The retaining spring assembly should look something like this:

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

That's exactly how both of my convertibles are, the 66 Electra and the 67 Wildcat.
