I'm sure plenty has been posted on these cars but I'm not having luck on threads. Looking at purchasing a 67 California gs. It's a really solid roller worth saving I just don't know much about this model such as we're they built on a gs frame? I know they were a thin pillar hard top special also were they available with limited slip rear? Show me the way fellows. Thanks Kirk

I think all California, Colorado and Carolina GS car were rebadged base models then called specials. They carry special and not GS numbers.

The cali and gs340 cars do not have the boxed frames that the gs400 and convertible use in 67.
A limited slip could be ordered in anything i believe
I dragged home a 4 door skylark for parts and it had a limited slip under it

Aside from the standard items on the Cali GS, it was able to be ordered with anything that could be ordered on a base Special 2 door sedan.
