does anyone know the diameter of the water pump and crank pulley on a `66 Skylark GS without A/C? Thanks
Crank.....6-1/4" Water pump, non AC....6-3/4" The AC waterpump pulley is smaller. I think the crank pulleys are the same between AC and non AC....

Right, the smaller AC wp pulley will spin it faster. If you have 4.11 rear gears, it spins it too fast! I went thru a waterpump every few years, and even lost a fan blade on 2 different flex fans! I went to the standard pulley last year. I'm not online much lately, I've been busy working on the car.... Did a marathon session last weekend, got the whole interior sandblasted and primered. Here's a pic after sandblasting....I love the look of fresh blasted steel!:laugh:
And Primered..... I used most of the quart of red primer on the floor... Expensive stuff!.... So I used grey primer on the dash since it'll later get painted black...The door jambs will be painted in the correct silver... btw, foam on the floor is to procect the primer 'paint'.....
