    Mr Walt, I can't seem to find any Modern Rod magazines with that Qjet 66GS running 13.82??:(
    and in all honesty I don't wan't this thread to die out!

    Thanks a bunch! I really did search and for the life of me I couldn't find it.... I have to be doing something wrong??

    I am not saying anything about the ET in the article. I am just identifying a source for the magazine.

    Double post..
    Yup, 11 to 1 Q-jet car with 3.55 rear. Un bolting the exhaust at the manifolds and some 9.50 x 14 cheater slicks they got a 13.82:)

    Pretty sure it was well tuned by the end of the day as the car seemed to be the red with white top car of LA Buick training center Bill Trevors..

    Did the 10.25 to 1 L76 340 hp Q-jet option come standard with a posi? I think the answer is probably no..

    No, the posi was a separate option.
    The A9 engine option did require auto trans and could not be ordered with AC.
