Saw this on Craigslist. Not my area. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/d/1966-buick-gs-skylark/6288590264.html
$2000 for the whole car. Titled. Original motor NOT in the car. No hood. Convertible. Possibly POSI. Parts are prolly worth $2000 and this rare car would be a serious project but me thinx it is restorable... Wheelz, Tampa Bay
2k...$2,000.00 worth of what?? transmission maybe destroyed or maybe rebuildable?? Engine maybe stuck frozen or maybe rebuildable?? floorboards are shot, im sure trunk pan is shot, rockers, quarter panels, bottom of doors, rockers, what shape is convertible top frame in?? what shape are seat frames in?? long list of maybe's and what if's going, priced at $2,000.00 I'm sure other people are watching to see if someone is willing to pay $2,000.00 for this $1,000.00 at best!!! so they can pull there $200/500 car out and post for sale $2,500.00 CAR FLIPPERS!!!!
There's easily $2,000 in parts there with the flywheel, bell housing, clutch pedals and linkage, frame (if it's good), exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, trim... If it were within 200 miles I'd be going to get it.
It does have some desirable parts. For the right price it could really help with someone’s project. Parts add up like the exhaust manifolds, consolette, etc. Maybe it has an AM/FM radio.
