I looked into this. I thought he sold it....must have fallen through. It's got severe rust but does come with 2 motors! I wish I had money and room for it.....Here was an email he sent to me....I can't believe it hasn't sold.

    Here's more pics:

    Daniel,

Here are a few pics. The original Nailhead is in my shop, not in the
car. I included a couple of pics of it also. If I haven't scared you
off, let me know. I have more pics... And willing to deal a little but
not on parts. This car is all original. It needs a boatload of work but
worth it to the right person. It currently has a 65 400 in it out of a
65 GS Skylark. This motor comes with the car also. I'll need to take
some pics of the engine compartment.

1965 Wildcat, dual quads, Burgandy, stolen from Sacramento,,,,,,,,,,,,

Dcramos72, maybe you could verify by vin that this isnt the same car for this kid since you've already made contact? If you would rather not, let me know and I will make contact and explain to him I need the vin to check production numbers or something. Id hate to scare off a thief versus catch one. IF thats the case. I am NOT accusing anyone of anything.
In his other thread he mentioned leaving to serve this country in June but I thought maybe we could still shoot him an email if there was any news.
I would love to help this kid out if we can.

According to the two posts, it is not the same car. The guy lists the vin in the post, and the picture of the vin on the block is different.

Yeah the rust scared me off...I was thinking aboout keeping the motor/trans and parting out the rest, but just don't have the space. Sounded like he might of had a buyer interested in restoring? But maybe he was just telling me that.

Any one know the production numberss on a factory dual four 65 Wildcat? I know 66 was 21, but don't know how many for 65.

According to the 1965 Wildcat production spreadsheet (availabe for viewing at the Buick Club of America website), Buick only put the 2x4 Super Wildcat engine package into 260 Wildcat Custom hardtops in 1965.

But what a fotune you would have to put into this car to restore it....

A fortune yes, but imagine having a 65 factory dual four wildcat and a 65 riv in the same garage, what a pair that would be!

.. And seven years later she is almost done!

Sorry for hijacking this old thread I happened to find but I thought it would be cool for you guys to see what came of the cat.

I'll try and get the vinyl top installed this weekend. She now resides in Sweden.
