I found a 65 Riviera sitting on the side of the road. I don't think it's the dual quad, but I would like to know a little more about the car. I am thinking of buying it. The owner will probably let it go for around $500. The body is probably beyond repair, too much rust, but the rest of the car, trim/upholstery/power options all are salvagable. Is this price worth picking it up? Scott
It depends on what is salvageable. I would make an inventory of what is perfect, great, good,ok, poor,... then see. for example, power vents are worth a couple hundred easy. check the carbs, dual carb setup is $500 easy.
