'65 Rivi oil pan different than Wildcat?

I am having an LX425 out of a '65 Riviera rebuilt to put into my '65 Wildcat. I thought I read somewhere that the Rivi oil pan was different for some clearance reasons than that on a Wildcat, Electra or Lesabre. If it is different should I get another oil pan?

    Thanks Rick

I guess I could crawl up under my Cat to see :Dou: It is a 401 but I am guessing there is no difference between the 401 & 425. I'm sure somebody here knows off the top of their head.

    Thanks Rick

Oil pan is the same between the Riveria and Wildcat/Lesabre--it is a center sump. The one that is different is the '65/'66 Skylark GS with the nailhead in it--it is a rear sump. The oil pan is completely interchangeable between the 401 and 425--only difference in the engines is the bore size.

Thanks for the response. Glad they are the same.
