65 Olds 442 at Barrett Jackson

Hi Guys

At my friends resto shop here in Canada we built a 65 Olds 442 resto mod. Our customer took it to Barrett Jackson and to our supprise it sold for $170,000! That's $220,000 in Canadian dollars!

Very proud of the shop. Wondering if any of you might have been there and saw it?

Glad you like it. It's JH Restorations in Windsor Ontario. I'm retired now but work there 2-1/2 days a week. Had a 65 Mustang at Sema this year and presently working on a 68 Camaro for Detroit Autorama in March. Lots of nice projects on the go. With the American dollar at 35% it can be worth it for our American friends to bring there car to us for restoration.

The seats are newer Camaro seats.

 

Did they bolt right up?.

Is that wood in the door?

 

Is that a stock center counsel.

 

Leo - I know that car. He spent a ton of money on the resto. Beautiful.

 

The seats do need a couple of mods on the brackets. We have done a few sets for the 68-72 A Body. I have a set of 2015 Camaro seats in my 72 Buick. Door panels are covered in leather. Console is a stock console.
