Just went back through here but couldn't find what you used for rear springs. The stance looks great!
i just updaed some photos in the post above .springs are the ones that came on it nothing new .just a little air the the air shocks about 20 psi
Just ordered all new seat covers and foam everything from Legendary .Going to do all the seats next month. The old 65 seats were getting rough.I did the best i could to make them look good but it is time .never have recovered seats but going to try it
I know some people have just replaced the buckets with Procar seats, they look close to stock but sit so much better and about $500 a pair from Jeg's etc. It's another option.
THREAD UPDATE Some of the purist wont like this I had a 65 GS when I was 15 bought it 4 speed car also .I had a Panasonic 8 track in it .So I found an NOS one (Same One I had in HS) so I ended up installing it stealth on the speakers nothing was cut. Sounds Great .Also ended up installing a shroud due to at idle stopped in hot weather it would creep up the temperature .Doing a 33 Factory Five car now .My 65 has been a real fun car .Got the body panels aligned better recently also Got to See Tom Petty last Summer RIP
Out of all my Classic cars? I must say I had the most fun with my 65's! Like you I had a thin pillar coupe in H.S. the one in my avatar, I did find a four speed 65 later in my life and did a frame off resto! had a ball with that one and my last one was a 65 GS convertible astro blue w/ white interior ; but all in all the most fun were the 65's Enjoyed your clips of the resto and the finished product ! both outstanding ! and a beautiful 65 GS indeed
