    getting the engine apart was a real BIIAACHHHHHHH 4 hrs with a 4 lb sledge hammer and a monthe of tranny acetone mix STILL Picture 507.jpg Picture 511.jpg Picture 510.jpg

    GOOD CALL Bob..and NICE workmanship! BTW..go all the way back up to Post #4, you show a pix of the consolette. I am wondering "IF" that shifter BOOT is an original? Ya see, there are TWO OF US trying to locate an original BOOT so we can actually provide a 3D image for reproduction schematic purposes.

    Would you TALK to me about that boot IF you still have it...PLEASE!!

    i know i have the boot got a bunch of parts fro the cabinet today to assemble the short block but haven't located it yet

    I know, I know, the 65 never Came with a Q-JET well I like them! I know the element is to tall,Did that by Design for more airflow
    Painting final coat on core support and iner fenders today and getting ready to install next.Body should be back In August

    Should be getting painted today 8-3-13 was going to BPG this morning to Race my T-Type .but cancelled because of weather.I have over 500 pictures of the restore if anyone needs some reference photos.I will keep the thread going because of the story.If you look at the photos you will see the SOHIO gas receipts.Well i found the person that signed the tickets however she passed away in 2003 .The car was wreaked in feb of 1978 and has set ever since .I contacted the sister of the owner on July 4th and have been sending her photos.she is close to 70 years old and told me her brother wreaked the car and hit a guard rail.The only thing saving the car from going into the Ohio River....here is the link to the photos
