There is a guy selling a 64 Wildcat on kijiji (our Craigs list) who describes his car as having an all aluminum block and heads motor, which sounds as if it's a 300. I thought 401 or 425 were the engine choices in 64. Maybe the engine is painted silver and he thinks it is aluminum?
A Lesabre would have come with a 300 with aluminum heads and intake (iron block). A Wildcat would have a 401.
