    This!!
I might have to paddle a canoe for a month or so before I could get to the driving part though

Well, it's been a while since any updates, so I thought I'd show the progress..... as little as there is! LOL
The interior is pretty well ready to go... just a few odds and ends. The front and rear glass is in and protected. The hood is fit and hinges, latch and gas shocks all working in unison. Also fit the front bumper and decided to cut it up to make it fit a little better...... that's still in process.
I guess the biggest bit of progress is that the 535 Tomahawk is running! (YAAA!!). We started it on the engine stand this week at TA. All went very well...... Many THANKS to Mike and crew at TA for a good looking/running build!! It had a borrowed carb, distributor, ignition, etc. and was just ran as a normally aspirated engine. Now it can be shipped home to finish mounting all of the extras and then dropping it into the engine bay, adding the ProCharger, etc...... sounds easy, but there's still a lot to do. I'll make progress over the winter and see where I'm at for the Nat's. If it's running and in primer by then I may bring it down, but doubt that I'd be racing it....... we'll see how it goes. It's going to need chassis dyno time and a fair amount of "dialing in" before I shoot for the 8's!! LOL!

Ok....... with only a few SRE components on the work list, and none of them are a rush, I decided to start the bodywork. Also, with the completion of my 535 Tomahawk, I'm waiting for it to be boxed up and arriving from TA sometime soon.
My short term goal, is to get the engine installed and running, get the rough bodywork finished and in black epoxy for "sometime" in 2021. Not sure if it'll be far enough along for the Nat's.......... A "LOT" of factors could alter this goal..... we'll see! LOL

Can't wait to see this car completed Steve! Have you decided on a color yet?

I'm 99% sure it's going to be a 2019 Ford color "Blue Diamond Metallic". But of course I couldn't leave that alone either!!! I worked with my local paint supplier to "modify" the color so it still retains the Blue/Grey that I was after, but now it has more pearl and mica in it to give it more "pop" in the sun.
My original choice was a cinnamon/copper/burnt orange color. I still LOVE that color, but I'm afraid it would be one of those colors that I love today, but maybe not so much in a few years.... I guess you'd call it "trendy". It's tough enough to build a cool car today as trends come and go and I certainly don't want it to be outdated before it's even finished. Things like wheels, etc. can be changed easily, but a paint job is too big of an item to swap out! LOL The blue will not be as "hot" as the copper, but it should be more "timeless".

That car would be cool no matter what color it is!

Well Steve, I've seen it in progress and couldn't have been more impressed with the work you've done on the car. Now I can't wait to see it finished, and once again I am more than will to drive up there to do it.

Progress is "slow but steady". The rear half is ready for SilkSand primer. The roof and the drivers door are the only portions that need striping, epoxy and bodywork. The front clip is now off and I'm cleaning up some of the wiring. The 535 is sitting in my storage room (arrived from TA a few weeks ago) all covered up and waiting for it's call into action! LOL
January is more than half over and time is flying past. There's also the possibility I may have some medical issues to deal with this winter, which would result in "nonproductive downtime"........ all this being said, I'm having serious doubts that I'll have it "drivable" in time for the Nat's in May. It "is what it is" I guess...............I'll keep plugging along and see how far I can get.

I know you hear this all the time Steve, but the car looks fantastic! It’s getting harder and harder to see my old car. You really do amazing work.

It's the 2019 Ford Diamond Blue Metallic with slight modifications to liven it up a little.

Slow but positive progress. The doors, quarters, deck lid and roof are all ready for Slicksand primer. Once that's done I'll start installing the drivetrain. I'll be sneaking few hours in during the next few weeks, but customer stuff is absolutely overwhelming at this point, so we'll see how far I get! LOL
