I was visiting my little brother in NJ for Christmas last week and I asked if he still had photos of our Electra 225 donor car. Some 13 years ago, he needed a quick way to keep his 1965 Gran Sport going after the original nailhead gave up. :Brow: We got our hands on a 1964 Electra and well, pictures are worth 1000 words. :laugh: Check it out.
YEEHAW! My ride for my driver's license was a '64 Electra! What fun trying to parallel park! My brother robbed it from my folks, and then proceeded to take it Buick Raceday in Norwalk in maybe '94? and got in the semi finals with a 15.2 ET. Shortly after that we parted it out as the frame was rusted away, my brother, Chris, had scrounged a TX, Electra. same color as the orginal and swapped the interior, which he still has! It's only got a 401 in it, where the orginal one, my folks had a 425, and I have the engine in the garage. I got 16MPG with it driving to college, 27 miles each way, also got my first speeding ticket, only one of 3 in many years of driving!RV
