Good to hear that there are now headers available for the '63 Riv. Just in time for my resto. What is cost for the headers and how do they hook up to the exhaust. Do they have a built in seal ring that a flange bolts to? Also, are they aluma coat?

Best to call TA Performance like I did. Mine are on order. Hoping not to have another senior moment here, but it seems like headers in raw finish was $379, and another $200 for Jet Hot ceramic aluminum coating, which I also went for. I think they'll bolt up to existing downpipes, but best to call TA Performance and get the straight tech help scoop. I don't anticipate any problems with mine because I also bought the 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust system to go with it, since mine is a cobbled together mess of 37 year old rust and patches, held together with goo I bought at Pep Boys until TA Performance could go into production. All that rust will not pass another state safety and emissions inspection, so I either had to buy from TA Performance, Midas, or Kanter. My loyalty and $$$ go to the Buick parts vendor!!!

    :pp John,
Thanks for the insight on these headers, now I know where I can direct my next $1000 for the RIV! This system should perk it up a bunch. Let me know how they fit when you get them.
