62 skylark ht

    Can a 1962 skylark ht. handle a 1962 401 nailhead w four speed Is there a lot of modifications?
    Just got this idea to do something crazy like this. That body weighs in @ about 2,000 lbs. Thanks Mike -St paul

    Sure, just put a tube chassis under it and use a narrowed Ford 9"...and get ready to ROCK&ROLL! The early Novas have been set up that way and can be screaming machines with 427s (and bigger) in them. Takes some serious tubbing to get big enough tires under them, though. That would be the same for you. That would be one bitchin' little ride. :Brow: I likes that body style.

    Those cars weighed 2950 lb with the featherweight aluminum V8. Add anything heavier, and you are well
