Here sits a great starter/project for someone who wants to get into the classic car scene quick. This wonderful 1962 Buick Electra 225 Convertible does run and drive and will take very little to make a great driver. Currently we have: rebuilt the carburetor, new radiator, new hoses, new belts, reconditioned fuel tank, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new water pump, and brake work from the previous owner. The top is in good condition and the vehicle does have some rust. Outside of that, this amazing convertible came from the manufacture with many options: 401ci nailhead, automatic transmission, power windows, power vent windows, power antenna, power 6 way seats, power steering, power brakes, electronic eye, air conditioning and heat, speed minder, and clock. Asking $5,500 or best offer Email, text, or call me with any questions you may have. No I do not need help selling this classic. Thanks for looking
This has been around for a while, I'm surprised it's still available. Just goes to show you that the market for big cars still is in the toilet. This thing is going for almost free and the guy can't get rid of it. Wonder what's wrong with it. If it's mechanical, it would still be well worth bringing it home because mechanicals are cheaper and easier to do than the body work.
It's a solid looking car, but there is LOTS to do on it when you look close. You take that $5500 and add all it's going to need to make it really even a good looking cruise car ( note it says rust, the paint is shot and you can bet the top needs replaced) and you can soon buy a pristine original. This is one that looks better in the photo's than in real life, I have no doubt this is a 50 footer. If it were really a "deal" it would have been long gone. I love the fact that it has factory air though.
