Buyer beware - that is not a Caballero. It is a hardtop Special estate wagon. 49-D. The Caballero is a 69-D.
Interesting. I had no idea, thought all the hardtop wagons were Caballeros during that period, but I'm definitely no expert and am just learning about the 50s Buicks (I love the style). What are the differences between a hardtop Estate wagon and a Caballero?
Thee Caballero is a Century wagon, basically. The special wagons are still desirable if they are solid...which this one is not LOL. He has another post wagon on ebay now, which is in much better shape than this one.
