Hi all! We're the proud owner of a '55 Buick Super (red and black). She's running a 322 with the dynaflow. We've just rewired her (so far so good) and done a raft of other bitz and pieces getting her back up to scratch. Question we now have is how to do the vacuum hoses off the fuel pump? When we bought her she had an electric pump and the manual fuel pump was blocked off with half the parts missing. Now we have a new pump, but are unsure where the hoses go. Does anyone have a diagram or could tell us? Cheers
thanks for that Do you happen to also have a diagram of the fuel pump itself and where the hoses run off of there? Cheers :bglasses:
For what it's worth - a quick look under the hood shows this diagram also works for the 1953 SUPER. Thanks a LOT - from a newbie looking for KLOO's every day. Items such as this expand my Shop Manual Collection so I understand how those exotic design engineers saw my Auto 60 years ago. Thanks to ALL - in advance - for your help - and I hope to make contributions as I learn more. :idea2: :idea2: :idea2:
322bnh - thanks that's helped with some of the questions. Does anyone have a diagram or even photo of rthe fuel pump itself and where everything goes? We have nothing at all to go on. Cheers
