Hi all need to have the door handles on my 55 super rechromed Has anyone dissembled the door handle mechanism , I have the handle off the car, I can't get the button /lock out and the chromer won't take these assembled Thanks for any help Will

What's the problem? There is just a wire type snap ring to remove and and the innards come out of the handle. Are you trying to rechrome the button? PM me for link to the body manual for your car.
