How hard would it be to drop compression enough to drive it on cat-pee gas? I hate to mess with a good thing, but I would want to drive it. In some situations,I have been able to achieve that by installing a thicker head gasket, but it depends what is in there now.

It's got .040 Cometic now with about a 61cc combustion chamber.

There might be some room to slightly mill the pistons. I'm not certain, just guessing.

Even if you had a set of custom pistons made, you'd be far ahead of a new build.

That's what I'll likely do if it doesn't sell.

I was hoping you had some .028’s or something. Then I could put the .040’s in.

Gary, I CANNOT believe that you never sold that engine for that money! Smokin' deal!! I have about 3 times that much in my Tomahawk build!! If I were in the market for another spare motor.......... I'd be on this in an instant!!

I keep thinking of transferring everything over to a Tomahawk to build a bullet proof more bracket friendly engine than my 560.

But then I think piston update, larger intake valve and more camshaft, it never stops...

I thought the same thing. I’d have to change a few things and the snowball starts rolling. Great engine.
