Hello, I am looking for a nice driver quality 4spd GS Coupe or Clone. I prefer small block cars with A/C. I also prefer the 66-67 and 70-72 body styles. Don't want to deal with rust issues. There is part of me that would prefer a clone because I would like to drive it to the airport and other places and not feel terrible if it gets a door ding. I also have teenage sons and don't want to feel like they shouldn't take it out for a spin. Message me if you have been thinking of selling your's. Thanks, Matt P
Dan - I am in the $15k to mid $20s for the right car. There is red one at a dealer in Dallas as well as a silver one in Maryland. I would prefer to purchase from the owner so you know more about the car and can get a feel for how it was taken car of vs a Dealer telling how great it is.
Thanks Buickcub. There was no contact information so I e-mail them. Anyone on the board know the car?
https://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/5897008554.html Up for sale my 1970 Buick GS 350 - 4 Speed (factory Hurst). Original numbers matching car built in Framingham, MA. This car has 94,000 miles. Runs and drives. Currently registered and on the road. I have owned it for the past 14 years and put on about 4000 miles. Again this is a 100% numbers matching Buick GS, one of 880 made. No test pilots. If you are a Buick GS lover, this is the car for you. not mine this is a lead
I talked to him - it was converted to a 4-sp. I should still have the emails from him if you're interested. If so PM me your email address.
This is the same one that was for sale last summer (was $16k FIRM then & had pics posted). I finally got a hold of the guy after a month or more, but his wife was having some health issues and it was not easy to communicate with him - I was even in Boston & couldn't get him to call me to make arrangements to go look @ it & figured he sold it until it came on CL again last week. I was serious about buying it but have moved on (I personally love 350-4sp. cars - would love to hear more about yours Buickcub), but sounds like a nice driver car depending on what bodywork was done before it was painted (in the 80's IIRC - Red now, orig Bamboo Cream). Orig. Drivetrain IIRC & headers. Personally, I was hoping to get it for around $14k if was everything it was supposed to be.
