494 stroker no more!

Need to rant here.Lol..my 494 stroker has been running abit low on oil pressure at hi rpm.well I took it out to take a look.luckily I had a girdle on this one.main webs cracked bad.it held it together. .at least I have parts to install in a different block.

 

Dan glad you found it in the garage and not on the track.

I put my 464 stage1 motor back in.no girdle on that one.runs at ad slower.10.40-50's.I'll still post.not sure about bowling Green now.might just spectate.

 

Ah, the smart iron block racer.. has a spare ready to go... Good to hear, sounds like your doing well in points at WIR.. Here's to a few race wins to offset machine costs.

Well we ended up winning one of the last 3.finished 3rd in points.started a new block.picked up a 75 block.it's in the works over the winter. .
