Well, it appears that the price has dropped from $7500 down to $6000.

Anyhow... so what do you guys think its real value should be? It appears someone has already offered him $5,000.00.

John doesn't the company you looked up sell a complete kit in that price range? Frank

    Frank,

Yes, the complete kit is less than $6,000. But they do not currently make the intake for a 455. If I could only get them to recast this intake.

    Thanks,

If you'd be willing to entertain a set of side draft carbs, you could always bolt two of these on top of an Offenhauser dual quad intake...

It does look nice, but it kills the whole independent runner concept and you're also adopting some of the Offy intake's poor flow characteristics. It all depends on what you're really after and how much money's to be spent.

    Devon,

Thank you for posting the pictures. Off of what site did you get the pictures?

I am really looking for cool factor. It would be great if I could even get it to run great.

I talked with these guys today....

They would be willing to reproduce the M/T Weber intake but realistically how many could we sell???? What would someone pay for one?

It's from the http://www.inglese.com link I posted earlier. They also do downdraft Weber and downdraft EFI.

Hate to say it, but the market for a cast downdraft or side draft intake is mighty small, it's hard to imagine what the piece price would have to be to even get a two year payback on tooling and labor.

If this intake was reproduced could I sell 6 of them at $500 each?

How about a manifold with crossed runners, so it could use sidedraft webers? Think that might be possible?
