My last rebuid I bought a TA crank, price was $285 plus shipping & tax ($325-ish total). The crank is fine, but I had a crack in the block that was not found during the rebuild. The crank was installed and I drove the car for about 2 years, I would guess I put about 1500 miles on it. Long story short, I bought a complete short block from a buick friend from this web forum that was already built and sitting at Micheals racing engines in Ohio. So I have a perfectly good crank collecting dust that I will sell for $150. I will actually ship the crank to you with no deposit or pre-pay if needed as long as you have multiple posts on this forum..(I consider multiple posts as a trust worthy Buick friend). As long as you agree the crank is fine, you get a crank at 1/2 price, send me a check. If you don't like it, you send it back. email: vinmanss@yahoo.com I can send pictures, send me an email. Thanks VinMan
It was a stock crank from TA and was not stroked. I'm looking at the notes from the shop that assembled the short block and all it says is: "Removed and installed Pistons on Connecting rods, align honed main bearing journals, balanced complete reciprocating assembly". This is all I know. That's why I said I would be willing to ship it and get paid once you or someone agree's to buy it. If not, send it back. It looks fine to me, but I'm not a crank expert..... I do like Caffeine....:Brow: but not crank. This was a bad attempt at a joke..... Thanks
