I am looking for a single groove water pump pulley for a 1970 GS 455, non A/C car. If you have one for sale, can you let me know, I have 3 double groove pulley's, but they are not right for the car.
Ight so you would need both of these to make it work,.its a non AC 300 crank pulley which is about a 1/2 smaller dia otherwise very similar in appearance to the "42" pulley,..then the water pump pulley is the same dia as the "41" pulley but with a 1/4 in shorter offset but together they line up perfectly with the short style water pump and should be compatible with PS as well as the location of it doesn't change from Small block to big block. $65 shipped for both. To walk up and look at them 99 out of 100 buick guys couldn't tell the difference,..just another option for you
I know this is a want ad, but are you sure you need a single groove upper for a non AC 70 GS? Mine has a double groove pulley on both the water pump and alternator
I have the double water pump pulley and the double alternator pulley, as well as the triple lower crankshaft pulley, but my GS isn't a Stage 1(wish it was)! Going to keep her stock for now, until I find a decent set of Stage 1, 1970 heads. I have some '64 300 parts that I have kept over the years as I was going to build a 215 stroker for a project years ago, aluminum top end, 2 stock ultra low mile cranks, pulley's etc, didn't know the crank pulley would fit the 455 tho! Will P.M. you with details and a big thanks for the parts.
