I wonder if there's a way to install a new cable in this block? I replaced my cable last year and remember cutting the old one off at each end of the block. I'd planned to drop it down again this year and install it correctly but looking at those photos, that doesn't seem like it'll be happening.
I make them on an on order basis using a third party 3D printing service. They can usually fill the order within a week or two. They're expensive to make so I only order one or two at a time. I split the "tube" that the cable goes through so you can install the Lectric Limited cable in it. And being 2 piece, they are re-usable.
And the NOS cable block is different than what came in the car originally. The original equipment one doesnt have the open areas where the cable passes through. The original block is solid. The one I repro is correct.
I just ordered three from my supplier. There was a slight price increase but I can still offer them for $100 plus shipping. I should have them by the first week of February. One of them I promised to Brett. One day, one of these might actually make it onto one of my cars
Are they 3D printed? Edit: Never mind, I read the entire thread. To make an injection mold would be big$$$
