All 50 states and a few extras. It took me many years to find them all. Delaware took the longest because apparently there have only been 10 cars in the state's history.
I'd never mess with our first state! That plate was the best I could find, then a week after I received it another one showed up.
Here's the plate that I ordered special for my 1971 GS455. Couldn't believe it was actually available.
Agreed John . As a neighbor I have to say that Delaware is a state that has no state tax . And their Roads are the best in the nation . How is that possible ???
I see you are in San Jose I might have some local plaques from there I have over 1000 plaques I've collected over the years
Oh, Joe I thought it was 70 not 7D. the 70 GSX was on Ollies X. In 92 I first saw it when we started the SoCal GranSports. That was the plate I wanted and was glad to see at lest it was on an X...
Too bad the red & white 65 Ohio plate with 455SF is not a 70? The 1970 Ohio plates were red & white as well! And that would have been nice for an SF block 455 car?
Hi Hi Joe, happy thanksgiving... Well I was wrong about the plate. The one I wanted was GSX and that's the plate that Ollie had! don't get old...lol
Holy smokes, now that’s some dedication! That had to take MANY years! Super cool wall art! Here is a needle in a haystack that made it’s way to me: my brother Pat found these on craigslist, these are brand new, 50-year-old, never been on a car Colorado plates. Even better the two letter prefix is from the county we grew up in, that I purchased my car in and the original owner resided in. Now let that Number sequence roll off your tongue: Seventy - four fifty five...... yes, for a ‘70 GS 455 I still can’t believe the luck of that find! Steve weim55 Colorado
noticed the Dean Buick plaque on the license plate frame of the GSX. Is that a Colorado car originally or was Dean Buick in other states? My car was purchased new from Dean here in Colorado.....
Yes pops car was sold at Deane in Colorado That paperwork you have is awesome I've never seen anything like that I do have a key chain from there as well Have you ever thought about making a license plate insert with that letterhead
