430 valve cover breather / grommet?

I want to put a breather in my 430 valve cover.

the hole is approx. .930"

I figure I can fit a breather with a .750 neck in there with the right grommet. I need the grommet.

Does anyone have a solution?

Ive been spending a lot of time on summit and jegs to no avail.

I just found a Mr Gasket #6379 1"OD .750"ID grommet.

Got a pair on jegs for $13 shipped. ouch.

I will post how they work out.

Anyone have other options? Post them here.

PS. Yeah I could make the hole in the valve cover bigger but I sure don't want to do it with a perfect set of re-plated original 69 valve covers.

 

The mr gasket 6379 worked perfectly on my 430 valvecovers.

Had to oil the breather to Insert it but everything is installed nice n tight
