I have a 455 engine with an Offenhauser 2 x 4 with twin 450 cfm Holley's (list # 9776)on it at this time. I was thinking about putting two 600 cfm Holley's (list # 1850 ) on it, but then, I got to thinking about going to twin 750 cfm carbs.
My question is this. If I were to buy two 750 cfm Holleys ( list # 3310) and change the fuel bowls to the single inlet 450/600 style bowls with a fuel transfer tube, will the 450 cfm carb transfer tube work? I dont know if its the correct length.

    Thanks, Jim

If the 750 carbs have the metering block on the front only, the transfer tube will fit from the smaller carbs.. If not, some of the double pumper spread bore carbs had front and rear metering blocks and the longer transfer tube. Model 6210, I think, but the parts are available for whatever your application.
