I have seen pictures of a set up with 8 single barrel carbs. Anyone know how they pulled this off and what carbs they used? Just curious. Thanks
The Webbers are the closest thing that you can get to FI in a carb.... but I cant afford them,,, dont work too well under hoods....Imagine all those air horns sticking thru the hood of my GS:Brow: :Brow: :Brow: Yeah,,, just imagine that:laugh:   Oh yessssssss:Brow:  :Brow:  Where is my hole saw,,,, or can opener,,,, or hammer and cold chizel.....???????
Why couldn't you make 8 small adapters that would bolt to the Weber pattern and have the correct holes and alignment for 8 "uno-jet" carbs? Ed
Rule one in Codman's 10 commandments of mechanical design is as follows: "Thou shalt design components in the least complicated manner; aggravation is proportional to the square of the number of parts in the assembly." A single 4bbl carburetor has an aggravation factor of 1. Eight carburetors would have an aggravation factor of 64. No thanks!:blast:
