Any chance you are coming to the GS Nats in Sept or maybe the Holley Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY? I'm guessing shipping is going to be outrageous and I'm not in a huge hurry for them.

 

I shipped two sets of two from Nashville area to South Louisiana a year or so ago for $58 each set. Have them turned(good side) facing each other, put a piece of cardboard between, a piece of cardboard on each outside and tape up. Shipping label taped to cardboard. Or have them taken to a local UPS store and they will do it all for you

 

Also, how old are the tires? The date code would be helpful that they haven't been sitting for a long time.

I've got a Fastenal store close enough to make it work as well.

If you can get a shipping quote to Bowling Green, KY 42104, I'm still interested. I am within a month of buy a set of tires for my 71 GS.

 

Gregg I will check the date code on tires. Find out on the forum if anyone is traveling through Pgh. Or interstate 80 north of me. Interstate 70 south of me

It should be a stamped number, not something cast in. Usually it is close to the DOT information.

What is the next to the last number? It looks like it is possibly a zero, which makes the number 0902 which is 9th week of 2002.
