Cleaning out my rocker area. I see a hole inside the bolt hole of both the front and rear stand. Is the front hole the only one that feeds? Drain vack looks like its through push rod holes. Is that correct. any advice for cleaning those oil passages? Got some silver sludge up there. Just did my pan a few weeks back and it has a bunch of that stuff in the bottom
Front only. I have gotten some to flow again by spinning the oil pump with a drill and probing with a piece of wire. Silver sludge? Maybe just moisture in oil from condensation or or water leak, but may be lead for long ago gasoline which is highly toxic! Wear gloves and put as much as you can in an old paint can and treat as toxic waste. The rocker assembly should be disassembled to clean also.
