Standard valves in the heads or cut for the larger ones? How much will the heads add to the deal and what CC are the heads?

They heads have big valves in them, I will have to double check to get sizes. I am going to PM you and we can try to talk on the phone. It will probably save some time.

If someone wanted to buy everything I had, I would sell the short block, oil pan, heads, rockers, ect. for $3500. I think that is a stupid good deal.

To finish it you would need some minor modifications to the scraper in the oil pan, head gaskets, and an intake and some valve covers. The valve covers I had will work, but they are stock and this would benefit from something cooler than that. They shop that the engine is at would also finish it for someone if that interests them. If this interests someone let me know and we can work on the details.

Wow, guess nobody wants to rumble down the road. Their mistake...I imagine the rockers are roller?
You could make those stock covers work with triple gaskets.

I can't believe no one has bought this motor yet. That cam chosen for it is one nasty ars cam it will sound like a big block big time.

I would put in a 410 gear with a 4000 stall convertor with the SP3 and it will sing like mad if the bottom end is strong enough.

I had a TA 510 cam in so I know how it is going to sound and based on my experience using that cam I would go with a 3800-4000 stall convertor and a 410 gear for sure. I would also put in the 200R4 trans to get that lower 1st gear.

I could easily spin to 6200 rpm with that TA 510 cam and that was with the TA DP intake.

I would also make sure the comp is at 11:1 because that cam is going to need it. A little race gas per tank and you will tear up the streets.

    That's my take .

and I wouldn't do no less than that.

Bump. I'm getting my study set up. If no one buys this I'm going to turn it into a bad ass table/desk.

This is probably the worst time of year to try to sell an engine, late spring and early summer is probably the best time. Probably not many people are shopping for what you're selling right now? Give it a 3 or 4 more months and a buyer may find you? Or if things go well with me I might have to then?
