70 CA was originally behind the 400 2bbl in a Monte Carlo and possibly other Chevrolets. The original 400 trans would have been a 66 CT.

the truck is non matching. has a 350 and the 70 CA 400 transmission. Not sure what the 350 is. looking at the numbers to find out what year that is. I believe in 66 the motor options were 292 283 and the 327 with the 2spd powerglide. 3 on the tree and 4spd also. I'm a tile setter so i'm not to anal about the matching numbers. I am with my buicks. lol
i got it for a work truck and to haul the dogs around in. had one in the 90's and sold it and been missing it since
    cheers
