I have been curiously looking at an extra 455 distributor that i have lying around. Nothing special about it except when i lay an old 350 distributor next to it, i cant tell a real difference. Are they different? the cap, rotor and maybe even the points look the same. I'm kinda confused.
I think both distibutors are the same except the number of teeth differ between the 350 & 455. Maybe someone else could elaborate. Randy
the teeth on the gear are opposite. one is angled right and the other left. other than that they are the same.
Different number of teeth on gear too - as well as advance curves are different. No reason not to interchange them if you change the gear and recurve.
