wilmington,NC probably saw this but just in case...
350 CID NEW REBUILT BUICK ENGINE AND 400 TURBO TRANSMISSION.
Parris Warwick, age 75, has 910 520 6030.
I’ve got a 72 GS350 for sale with a great running 350.
Thank you Jim. I will get in touch with him.
HaHa Brian I just need a engine not a entire car.
Good news Update:
HUGE thank you to James Weinman for locating a motor and helping with the shipping of it to me.
Looking good Ryan. Nice score from James on the engine. Just so you know those ladder bars are going to make that thing ride a little rough........ but it will do very straight burn outs.
Looks like a nice motor. Is that a Poston intake?
No TA performance
Top notch ride
After a little research I think I am going to paint the motor similar to the one OHC JOE has. I like the contrast of it and the fact its Blue. The motor that is currently in the car is a Dark blue and I want to keep it similar to the way it was with a few extra details. I have the poston valve covers and I like how Joe painted his Blue.
Great choice and thanks Joe for posting the blue badness. Gotta scuff the blue off the ribs and BUICK letters that stand proud of the rest of the valve cover.....jumps out, but accents with all the other Aluminum bits....if you don’t like it just paint them over again.....
How’s this project coming along?
I did that a couple of weeks ago....
Joe, that looks awesome!
I gotta get a couple of few things still
That looks bad ass Joe. super clean work. I like the Edelbrock carb. I had one of those on a 350 chevy boat motor.
it ran like a champ. easy to tune. she's going to be a runner.
This kind of reminds me of yours - https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/buick/lesabre/2215547.html
Yeah I dig it. There was a time you saw this kind of wild paint but its very rare to see any now. Been kind of slow on my car. Took off some of the engine components off so we can pull the old motor out. New motor came in from TX. Dave and I plan to get to work on this soon. You want things to go fast but life has a way of slowing dreams down lol
Ryans-GSX, I sent you a PM
