I could not find a guy to cover my service calls and being as its been 100* nearly everyday for the last 3 weeks I couldnt afford to miss the work. I kept track of income brought in during the 4 days I'd have been gone and it was over 2500$ + the chance to sell 3 complete systems. Wish they would hold these things in the spring or fall. I may have to cancel the GS Nats as well due to them being in Sept.

Congrats on Best of Show! :TU:

I had wanted to attend an ROA national meet when I had my 98, but distance and really bad times of year made it impossible for me. While I don't have a Riv or even a Buick at this point, once things have settled down for me here in AZ, I may find myself Riviera shopping again, and will have to watch for meet locations for future years.

Hmmm, disappointed there was no pic of the 67 car.

Hey Kacper - Those valve cover bolts that traveled the world look especially nice! Yes it is an exact match to an original shadow turquoise color chip. The bridge pics were taken at dusk so it looks darker. The level of surface prep and shine of course is different than the factory. I knowingly pursued an over restoration on the paint job.

Thanks everyone else for the compliments. Have been putting some miles on testing everything out since back from the meet. Thanks to Tom Telesco the engine has an original Buick 091 dual quad cam including steel NOS shim head gaskets to keep compression up. Engine built to totally stock specs and man is this thing FAST.:eek2:. Some may recall my post about not having enough engine vacuum for the booster with the TA-20 110 LSA. Out came that cam and in went the 091 (which is want I was after to begin with). So cool to listen to the exhaust note of an original 091. Even with resonators it sounds awesome.

Congrats Jason on the award and completing your baby...I know it's been in the works for a long, long time. Love the dual 4GCs on the nailhead. F'ing exquisite. ;)

Those are NOT Rochester 4GC's they are the original Carter AFB's. How do I know??? I rebuilt them yrs. ago for Jason.

Sorry about that...my mistake. Couldn't see the air horns clearly to make out the squared section for the primary bores. Didn't look like Marty's dip. blue 65 with the dual quads...and I've seen that one up close plenty times.
