    Can someone help me...
    I have a 68 GS400 Conv. I am replacing the #s matching engine with a 70 stock 455 from a 70 Riv.
Will the following 200R4 bolt in to my car with the 70 455?
I know that I would need to modify a driveshaft... what else???

I have the original 200-4R trans out of my '86 Regal for sale. It is currently apart for inspection and found to be in excellent condition thruout. Everything is boxed in two boxes and the bare trans case has been steam cleaned and ready for either re-assembly or the option to fill it full of the "good stuff" that you can aquire thru the TurboBuick.com vendors IF you want to put some power thru it. Remember this is a 4-speed overdrive with a .67 4th and can really lower those rpm's at cruise speed.

    Thanks for the help!

Yes, it should bolt right up. You will need a new converter, new yolk on the end of your driveshaft (unless you were running a TH350), TV cable and carb bracket, linkage adapter bracket for carb, and possibly shifter stuff, especially if you have a floor shifter.

Also know that a "built" 200R4 will run between $1800-$2400, plus all the other stuff. It depends on how tough you want the tranny. I figured on spending about $2500 to do my conversion and I'm probably going to end up closer to $3K, but mine is built to the hilt to withstand my engine, a custom converter, aux. tranny cooler and special aluminum pan/pickup, manual lock-up setup, etc.

I'm doing the conversion right now and gathering all the parts for a March 1 start. Boy, it's a lot of stuff you don't think about.
